How it all began...
Hey, I'm Florian and I've been doing calisthenics for 10 years. In 2019, I attended the 1st German Streetlifting Championship, but only as a spectator.
Another three years passed, and I took part in my first competition . I took 4th place and was super happy and proud of my performance and how the competition unfolded. I was looking forward to my certificate, which was meant to get a special place at home.
After that great day full of emotions, I then realized that only the top three in each weight class were called up and honored. As an athlete, that felt like a slap in the face!
The following year, I organized my own first competition with the big premise that every participant would receive at least a certificate for their achievements!
No sooner said than done!
But that wasn't the end. I kept thinking about how athletes could honor their achievements independently.
And that's how CaliBarZ was born!
