It all started with a competition in Dessau (Germany).
Hey, I'm Florian (29) and from the very first second, I was blown away by the incredible performances of the athletes and absolutely wanted to become a competitive athlete myself.

Another three years passed and I took part in my first own competition. I came in 4th place and was super happy and proud of my performance and how the competition went. I was looking forward to my certificate, which was supposed to get a special place at home.
After this great day full of emotions, I then had to realize that only the top three in each weight class were called up and honored. As an athlete, that felt like a slap in the face!
The following year, I organized my own first competition with the big premise that every participant would receive at least a certificate for their performance!

No sooner said than done!

But that shouldn't be the end. I kept thinking about how athletes could honor their achievements independently.
And that's how CaliBarZ was born!
